Pole dancing tell me what you think?

I know pole dancing started in a strip club but I don't think its like that anymore. Is it that people are still ignorant about it or is it just ... 'stripperish'. I watch competitions and I was amazing and took a strong interest. I learned and became really good to. I even went to a strip club to watch the girls and they had nothing on the competitors. the strippers just pranced around the pole and was more seductive. I being harshly judged now because I like it and offered lessons. WHY DID I HAVE TO LIKE THIS SO MUCH?!
