Can I use a copy of my prescription to get glasses?

I was supposed to have brought my prescription with me from NC to AR, but I accidentally grabbed a lab test request. If my aunt faxes it to me, can I still get the glasses, or will they be all, "No, you horrible person, you cannot get glasses with this forged note." I'm assuming I can, since it's just numbers on a page that say what I need.
