What do i do with career?

Hi basically i feel abit stuck. I was recently promoted to a supervisor at work however i started to feel stuck and panicked I was going to be doing it for the rest of my life. I also had a policing degree starting in September and i thought to myself maybe im missing out on a good opportunity so I told work and they had to put me back to a normal colleague. Currently after thinking about it I can see that the policing degree is a waste of time as theres no guarntee of a job and its to restricted plus all of the debt. So I was just wondering what peoples views are on these following options? I can either go to univeristy to do the policing degree, stay at work as they are looking around for supervisor jobs and theres a management scheme in september i can apply for. many thanks :)
