How do i start to become a vet at 27 years old?

It has always been my dream to be a vet but i took a different path in school. I majored in business and got my BA in Business Administration / Management. Now i feel like I missed my calling and I would like to know how much more school I have to go through and once I do - what the process is to become a practicing vet.
