Sims medieval~responsibilities not working! why?

I have an issue where Ill do what I need to do to complete my responsibilities, but they wont complete. This includes asking people about life in my kingdom, forging weapons, and a few others. Anyone else having this issue? I can't find anythign about it online, no matter what quest I do atm, it doesnt seem to work.
