How do you compose a resume?

Hello, I am 17 years old and I have no prior work history. I need help writing a resume. What kind of things do I need to put in it? I go to school online, where you decide when to work on what, and things like that all the time, so could I put that I have good time management skills? I need a general overview. If possible, could somebody show me an example of a good resume somehow? Also, does it help to research the company you are applying to, and then tailoring your resume to match the interests of the company? Sorry for all of the questions, but I don't need a work permit during the summer do I? Do you need one for volunteer work? Also, what kind of clothes should wear to an interview or for volunteer work? A suit? I don't have a lot of money.
